"The Racer", or "The Driver" is an unofficial name given to any guy who drives Nitro Type cars. This name can also refer to different variations of racers who are used to substitute as a driver on many vehicles, particularly during events and seasonal vehicles. He is presumed to be Nitro Type's unofficial mascot due to his appearance on multiple cars, and sports his iconic gloves which have appeared in many stickers since.
History[]
He first appeared in the Zonday Tricolore (now known as the Fibonacci Tricolore) on January 2013. Presumably around the time Nitro Type got a new designer. This can be seen with the change in v1 aesthetics from 2012 to 2013; as noted by Car IDs past 67 and Xmaxx. Subsequently he's (whatever they may be) has been re-opted into many cars since, resulting in many v2 variants of existing cars, which were first seen on the test site.
He has a water variation, where he is seen donning a diving suit. This can be seen on the Hang 10, Hang 11, Hang 15, The Hydro Planer, the Floaty Blue, and I'm Spicy! Since then there have been many variations of different racers riding cars. The racer can be seen driving go carts, boats, motorcycles, roadsters, convertibles, planes, and elaborate contraptions wherever he goes. He has appeared in numerous stickers since, usually in glove variations, or outright cameos in the case of Nitro Racing League.
