Shop

The Shop, also known as the Item Shop, is a page where cars, cash, loot, and merch can be purchased. It replaced the Dealership on February 6, 2021.

List of sections

Below is a list of all Shop sections, along with the dates they are or were active. Click on each section's link to learn more about how it works as well as the items that are or were sold in that section.

History

The Shop was added in February 6, 2021, initially only containing what is now known as the Nitro Daily Items Shop section. It has since been modified to include additional Shop sections and, in some cases, remove them. All of these dates are listed above for each section.

  • On November 23, 2021, rarity was added to the game and shop UI changes.
  • The Xmaxx Cave Shop section was removed on the original Xmaxx 2021 end date (January 17, 2022). However, since the Xmaxx 2021 season was extended by 14 days, the season finishes with no pop-up dealership.
  • On Feburary 20, 2023, an icon showing how much cash the player has was added in the top right corner of the Shop page. This cash balance is also shown when buying or viewing an item.
  • On August 19, 2024, the shop's franchises replaced the Nitro admins advertisements on the Nitro Speedway track.

Trivia

  • The different current permanent dealerships are sorted from lowest cost to highest cost.
  • Users must be logged in to view or access the Shop.

Glitches

  • When the Prismatic Shards is in the shop, clicking another item in the middle of the nitro's animation results in the animation pausing. This can only be fixed by reloading the page.
  • There was a glitch that occurred when players clicked the purchase screen and left the page for a period of time; when they came back, the animation of the sides of the track would freeze and the car would leave an afterimage behind when moving. This glitch is fixed.
