Are you ready for a night at the movies? We've got a season that'll take you from the high seas to outer space and everywhere in between. Introducing: Nitro Movie Night!
This season, we've got some iconic vehicles that are sure to impress. The Titanic may not have had the best luck in real life, but we've given it a second chance on the Nitro Type track. And who wouldn't want to race around in the Ecto-1 from Ghostbusters? We've also got the Tron Bike, straight out of the digital world, and the SR-71 from Transformers. And for all you movie buffs out there, we couldn't resist adding the classic Bugatti Mistral, a car that's made appearances in numerous films.― Corndog

- This season is similar to Nitro TV, except it contains references based on popular movies.
- All of the cars in this season, with the exception of the Nitreux Azune, are all references to various movies. Various loot items also reference movies and the movie medium in general.
- The Boogeyman Buster car, and the "Ghost Getter" title are references to Ghostbusters.
- The Zon Bike is a reference to Tron: Legacy
- The RMS Unsinkable is a reference to the Titanic.
- The Mach 3 Marvel is a reference to Jetfire's form in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
- The "The Wicked Witch" title, and the Twister trail are references to The Wizard of Oz.
- The Konquest sticker is a reference to King Kong.
- The "Great Scott!" title is a reference to Back to the Future.
- The "Secret Agent" title is likely a reference to The Mission Impossible franchise.
- The Boulder Chase trail is a reference to the Indiana Jones Movie Raiders of the Lost Ark.
- The "Grab the Popcorn!" title, the Clapper, 3D Racer, and Nitro Cola stickers, and the Film Strip and Explosions trails are all references to movie related things, such as special effects, stunts, and movie theater necessities like 3D glasses.
- Although the "Galactic Guardian" title was put into the bootstrap at the same time as the titles for Season 45 were, it never made an appearance. It was forgotten about, hence its absence, and it was later added to the shop. It is likely a reference to Guardians of the Galaxy, but it could also just be a reference to galactic Sci-Fi movies as a whole.
