Merry XMaxx, Nitro racers!
The time has come: It’s one of the biggest and most important events of the Nitro year…the thing some of y’all have probably been looking forward to the most out of anything else! It’s basically tradition at this point, and that speaks even louder this time, considering this is the 10th anniversary! We originally started this yearly tradition waaay back in 2012, and since then we’ve had a lot of ups, and a lot of 2020s, but this year…we were kinda stumped on what to do.
Luckily, just as we thought all hope seemed lost, and we’d have to do something crazy like delay Nitro Racing League (gasp!!)...we heard something flying overhead Nitro HQ. Turns out, Jolly Saint Wampus was getting into the spirit of the season early, taking one of his (many) Rocket Sleighs out for a joyride above the city and showering the town with gifts! “Ho ho ho! Trivia[]
- Players who logged in during the first 3 minutes of this season would get all of the rewards up until their Season 43 level. Season levels were reset soon after, but anyone who earned the rewards kept all of them, including the cash. This occurred because the admins forgot to reset XP earned during Season 43.
- A limited time dealership, the Xmaxx Igloo, was launched alongside this season and was only accessible through a link in the news post at launch. The displayed prices of the cars in the dealership were incorrect when first launched. The shop was removed after 15 minutes of being live and returned soon after with the correct prices displayed for the items.
- Anyone who bought a car the first time it was launched paid the intended price for the car, regardless of what price was originally listed.
- For about the first month, the strand of lights on the race doors didn't flash.
- Despite being an Xmaxx-themed season, the site did not have the same background that appeared during Seasons 25 and 30. Instead, it featured its own Xmaxx logo.
