I Want Some Loot!
New to Nitro Seasons? They're super simple! Starting July 5th, a whole bunch of new rewards will be available to earn through racing for 
Nitro Gold members, but free members, we've got you covered as well!
But how do I earn them?
Race race race, loot loot loot! Get those races in, and you'll unlock more and more tiers on the Season Rewards page. Tiers marked "FREE" can be earned by all racers, while the rest are Nitro Gold only (it's only $9.99 for an entire year of Season Rewards, and you get a bunch of other goodies as well!)

Changes to Leveling!
Along with the new season, we're completely overhauling the leveling experience! Moving forward, your level is now your Season Rewards level. That means instead of getting to level 40 and not wanting to spend 4 hours grinding to level 41, now levels are a lot more evenly spread out, and you know when you see a level 77 on the track, they've been working hard this season! And don't worry, all of your existing stats will remain, including races, sessions, etc. Once you finish earning all of the rewards, your level will keep going up and up and up for the remainder of the season!
Because of this change, we've also removed all level requirements from the Dealership! Gone are the days of being forced to grind out levels to get to a car that you were able to afford weeks ago. Simply save up, and buy that epic F-35 you've had your eye on!
Display Names No Longer Required to be Unique!
It's a funny thing, scale. When we first created Nitro Type almost 10 years ago, every display name you could imagine was free for the taking. Fast forward 10 years and 40,000,000 registered users later, and it's near impossible to find a display name you want! Starting with season 28, display names no longer need to be unique! Named Travis but annoyed that I took the name? BOOM. It's yours. Want to flatter your favorite YouTuber? Weeeeee! An army of PenguinTypers and AceTypers suddenly appear!
Ohhh… and I forgot to mention… The Wampus called in a little help from his family to get you all these sweet goodies… But when I asked for more info, a quiet voice in the distance simply replied…. soon™? 🤷♂️
