- Its name was '67 Shellback GT-500 until May 3, 2021.
- When it was first released, its name was “67' Shellback GT-500” until an unknown player noticed that the apostrophe was placed after the “67” instead of before it. The name was then corrected to “'67 Shellback GT-500”.
- It is the first car that can be earned in the King of The Race achievement category.
- On May 25, 2022, its rarity was changed from Common to Uncommon.
- Despite there being two other cars with "Shellback" in their name, neither is a variant of this car.
- The car is based on a 1967 Shelby Mustang GT500.
