This is informational page about leagues. To see the original news post in the Nitro Wiki, see here.
Leagues are tiered groups that create smaller, more manageable competitions every week. They were added as a replacement for Leaderboards, due to the latter system facing increasing issues with botting, cheating, and unfair practices. Each league contains 30 players. A player is added to a league when they complete their first race of the week in Nitro Type or Nitro Math. This ensures that the player competes with players who started their weekly XP activity at around the same time. There are ten tiers of leagues in total, listed below in ascending order:
Upon advancing to the next league in the sequence, a player also completes a few achievements with the associated league name rewarding the player with several rewards with all of them including a title and some amount of cash.Team Leagues is a section in leagues where a team competes with other 29 teams in the weekly League, similar to the Personal League. Players' personal and team league ranks may be different as they are not associated with each other. Team ranks have same names as personal ranks, however no rewards are given.
Promotions and Demotions[]
Players will start at the Learner League and work their way up. The leaderboards are based off of XP. The more you have, the higher up you are. If a player isn't in the promotion zone by the time the league ends, they either stay in their current league, or are demoted to the previous league if they are in the bottom seven (position 24-30) and not in the Learner League. Each League lasts one week. The place requirement for promotion to the next league is as follows:
- Learner: Top 20 advance
- Novice: Top 15 advance
- Rookie: Top 10 advance
- Pro - Master: Top 7 advance
- Epic: Top 5 advance
- Legend: Top 10 advance

Trivia[]
- Leagues are a replacement for Leaderboards (also known as Top Teams), due to the Leaderboards being removed.
- There is also an in-game typing text talking about leagues and the Corsa Ultima.
- If a player is in any stage of a Legend Tournament, the Legend badge will appear on their name tag.
- There is a glitch that will keep you from getting put into a League when you race (i.e. after you race, the League page still says "Please complete a race to join this week's leaderboard.") and your XP does not count toward your team's League during this time either.
- There was a bug in the first few minutes of the launch of Leagues where you would get all of the Legend Tournament loot after one race. This bug was patched soon after and all the accidentally awarded loot was removed.
