Feline Overlords

The Feline Overlords, known as [KTTY], was a team that was created on November 4, 2018, by ayeyuhskuh. With strong support from the Nitro Type Discord, [KTTY] rose through the ranks quickly. The team was disbanded on January 1, 2019, and has been disbanded and recreated by many different racers ever since.

Members

The officers were Galaxied, ohworm?, lumitry, Pandora, and zetria.

Some of the team's notable members were Mal, WildFlower, Vielle(alt), -tentacion-, Tummie, P Phan, and Riddle.

Chronology

The goal of [KTTY] was to beat DOG on the season leaderboards and to break records in Season 18, and ultimately avenge SECT. Season 18 was the last of original competitive seasons and, along with Season 21, is regarded as the most competitive season to date. Throughout the season, they steadily held the number 2 spot on the season leaderboards in points. The team featured many prominent members, such as Galaxied, who placed first on the individual leaderboards for the season and made it to the Hall of Fame with their 4,000 race session.

One prominent feature of KTTY, was its ability to recruit typists outside of Nitro Type, notably through other typing websites such as TypeRacer, and 10FastFingers, especially in part due to the recruitment of P. Phan by Ayeyuhskuh. It was because of this working relationship that P. Phan would later go on to found the Clicking Championship in early 2019, and unite the typing community across typing websites in a way that would not be replicated ever since P. Phan's suddenly unannounced departure from the typing scene. Some of his work was pivotal towards tracking team statistics, as well as making projections for the team. Because of Ayeyuhskuh's outreach to P. Phan, it would eventually lead him to briefly unite the Typing communities of Nitro Type, TypeRacer, and 10FastFingers in making the Clicking Championship a few months later, an achievement that would not have otherwise happened if it wasn't for KTTY's presence on Nitro Type at the time. With P. Phan having additional plans to expand his competitions to Typenconquer.io and TypeShoot, although this never happened due to his sudden departure from the scene.

Because of KTTY's significantly technocratic nature, and embedded role with other typing communities, it was able to become the fastest competitive team in Nitro Type history. Allowing for it to build an unusually unprecedented coalition in its efforts to successfully overtake DOG. With notable inspiration deriving from CHES, whom in the previous season, undertook a similar task to what KTTY set out to achieve, by dethroning NTA with many notable community figures. KTTY captain ayeyuhskuh also participated in team CHES, sparking even more inspiration to create KTTY. There was also extreme influence from de-facto Season One team winner, SECT, by using such methods as Guest racing to speed up race load times in friends races. Because of this, the team was successful in reforming load times in faster WPM zones, allowing for faster typists to finally be competitive with racers that were matching them at a quarter of their speeds due to discrepancies in load times throughout WPM zones.

The team ultimately disbanded on January 1, 2019, after ayeyuhskuh stated that "We accomplished what we set out to do and broke records". On July 1, 2022, ayeyuhskuh's account would be unbanned after a voucher to admins from Vielle.

• KTTY was the fastest team to ever be in the top 3 and also the first top 3 team in seasons to break 100 WPM.
• Near the end of the season, KTTY changed its name to multiple things, one being SECT won Season 1, and the other being C A T, a playful taunt to D O G.
• They were the only team by speed to beat SYN.
