Custom Nitros are a type of loot. They are animations that play whenever a player uses a nitro during a race or game. They can be equipped in the Customizer. Only one Custom Nitro can be equipped at a time. In addition, only players with Gold Membership can change their Nitro animation from the Default Nitro. They were released on August 28, 2023.

- Prior to the release of Custom Nitros, the Default Nitro animation played whenever a player used a nitro.
- There was a known glitch where Custom Nitros did not appear properly in the season reward box after a race.
