The 2018 Xmaxx Event was the seventh and final annual Xmaxx Event. It was first announced on November 21, 2018, started on November 30, 2018, and ended on January 1, 2019.

The XMaxx event is our biggest event of the year, where we celebrate everything festive and where you can earn exclusive holiday cars, titles, extra cash, and XP!
Once the XMaxx event starts, head to the dealership and pick up a holiday car. All races using a holiday car will win you an extra 50% cash and experience from every race!
What's the theme this year?
So Fission and I were chatting with Jolly Saint Wampus the other day. As is the norm this time of year, he was deeply immersed in the danish tradition of Hygge, sippin' a double ristretto venti half-soy nonfat decaf organic iced gingerbread peppermint frappucino, extra hot with foam, whipped cream, double blended when suddenly he stopped, twitched his festive whiskers, and looked us directly in the eyes (which was impressive since he managed to look us both in the eyes at once) and uttered one word. Sweaters.
Uhhh.. Sweaters? Fission and I looked at each other, shrugged, and went to work! We're not one to question he-who-gives-xp-bonuses after all. So uhh. Sweaters. Neat!

- 11/21/18: Travis makes a news post announcing the start date and theme of the event. [1]
- 11/30/18: The event begins one day before it was scheduled to start. [2]
- 12/4/18: The Shimura Jolly GTX LG is released, achievable for completing 400 races with an Xmaxx car. In addition, The Goldray is released to admins and moderators, and the can hav nt g0ld plx? is released, originally meant to be admin-only, but was later released to the news moderators and to DV0RAK for his song. - 12/6/18: The Goldray is released, exclusive to Gold members. In addition, The Golden Gift and Gilded Xxpress are re-released, also exclusive to Gold members. [4]
- 12/8/18: The Liberty Wraptor is released, obtainable by completing 100 races in a session with an Xmaxx car. [5]
- 12/12/18: The Wraptor GG is released, achievable for using 1,000 nitros with an Xmaxx car. [6]
- 12/14/18: The Silent Knight is released, purchasable from the Dealership for $15,000,000. DV0RAK and asssa123's song is released. [7]
- 1/1/19: The event ends.

Trivia[]
- The end of the announcement post reads "Oh and... we just miiight be bringing back XMaxx's most requested car.. If you're on the nice list ;)". It was speculated that the car in question was the Shadow XMaxx Tree. asssa123, a news moderator at the time, later confirmed this.
- This was the event that included the most cars (12).
- Six cars were re-released for this event along with 6 new ones.
- This was the last year the Xmaxx event was done in annual repetition.
