The 2017 Hallowampus Event was the fifth annual Halloween Event. It was first announced on October 15, 2017, started on October 18, 2017, and ended on November 1, 2017.

In this haunted mini-event you'll find pumpkins and MOAR pumpkins that have been transformed into cars.
Don't believe me? Just check out the new "Track-o-Lantern" that's just emerged from the cobwebs.
(I've even heard whispers that another car might be unveiled during the event, so stay on the lookout.)
To join the event, run screaming to the cemetery dealership and purchase any one of the Halloween event cars you find there.
Every time you race with one of the event cars 'til November 1st, you'll score 25% more cash and XP.
You'll also have a chance to snag some spooktacular achievements and titles.
Keep racing and you might even unearth some more achievements that have been buried...

- 10/15/2017: TheRedBaron, an admin, says he will be doing a lot of racing that Wednesday. People assume that the event would start that day.
- 10/17/2017: Travis posts a comment that says the event will start on the next day.

Trivia[]
- During the first few hours of the event, there was a glitch where the achievements would reset every time a player logged out.
- There was a bug at the start of the event that allowed people to earn achievements from the 2017 Summer Event. TheRedBaron congratulated those who knew about and reported the bug on the news subsequent to the bug fix.
- This is the third Halloween event in a row in which The Candy Hauler was a purchasable car in the dealership during the event.
- Buying the Nitr-o'-the-Wisp gave two achievements and titles, "Moar Pumpkins!" and "Sp00ked". This is the first event in which, upon purchasing an event car, would give more than one achievement and one title.
- 97 players earned the See You Latte achievement. [3]
- There were a total of 19,075,586 races played during the Halloween event. [4]
- This was the last year the Hallowampus event was done in annual repetition.
- All of the cars in this event have been re-released in the Shop.
- Of the 4 event cars, only 1, the Track o' Lantern, is new. The Nitr-o'-Lantern and the Nitr-o'-the-Wisp were both released in the 2016 Hallowampus Event and the Candy Hauler was available in the 2015 and 2016 events.
